Nemo Schurkhardt
„Ähm Leute, habt ihr Nemo gesehen?“ – „Er war doch gerade noch hier?“ – „Oh nein, wir haben ihn verloren. Schon wieder!“ – „Alles klar, Leute. Findet Nemo!“ Es ist nicht nur der Titel eines beliebten Pixar-Films, sondern leider auch oftmals die Realität von Nemo Schurkhardt. Der junge Mann mit dem wohl schlechtesten Orientierungssinn ever geht nämlich gerne mal verloren. Also, nicht absichtlich, versteht sich. Damit hat er damals schon seine Eltern sehr auf Trab gehalten, und heutzutage treibt er eben auch seine Freunde damit ihn den Wahnsinn. Sie brauchen sich nur kurz mal umdrehen, und schon ist Nemo weg. Man sollte meinen, mit 31 Jahren (*16.07.1990) sollte man(n) sich in der Stadt, in der man lebte und aufgewachsen ist, zurecht finden, aber nein. Nicht er. Selbst an seinem Arbeitsplatz, im Rush University Medical Center, verläuft er sich auf den Etagen noch ständig, steht in der Dermatologie, obwohl er eigentlich in die Pädiatrie wollte, obwohl er nicht erst seit gestern da arbeitet. Aber nun gut, in seiner Tätigkeit als Resident in der Pädiatrie ist er weitaus kompetenter. Vor allem mit den Kids kommt er gut klar, blödelt ein bisschen mit ihnen herum und schafft es doch, die Waage zu halten, wenn es darum geht, wie ernst ihre Krankheiten sind. Ein bisschen verwirrt ist Nemo ja manchmal schon, aber grundsätzlich ist er in seinem Job sehr organisiert und vor allem ehrgeizig. Der Schurkhardt ist jemand, der sich immer ordentlich ins Zeug legt und alles am liebsten aus eigener Kraft schafft. Mami und Papi haben ihn zwar finanziell im Studium unterstützt, aber er hat auch schon selbst Geld dazu verdient, um sich wenigstens ein bisschen unabhängig zu fühlen. Seine Wohnung in der 5035 S East End Avenue hat er jedoch von Anfang an selbst finanziert, und damals war das echt sein größter Stolz. In den letzten Jahren hat er dort mal eine Zeit lang mit seiner mittlerweile Ex-Freundin gewohnt, doch nach der Trennung im letzten Jahr, ist die Wohnung wieder ganz seine Single-Bude, und irgendwie ist das ja auch ganz nett. Wobei er auch nichts dagegen hätte, wieder jemanden zum Kuscheln zu haben.
